Too busy to breathe? Too frazzled for fun? Meditainment's for you!
Meditainment is held on the third Wednesday each month.The showings resume in the fall.

These programs have a specific theme for the evening as well as a period for investigating the seasonal constellations and planets.
In March our public Planetarium Show will be held on Sunday March 21 at 2:00 pm.
The March program will be "The Secret of The Cardboard Rocket".

Sit back, relax, close your eyes and embark on a journey of Imagination Reality where you play the leading role! Join us for guided meditation under the stars at Drake Planetarium; a time to relax and rejuvenate.

Two young adventurers turn an old cardboard box into a rocket and blast off on an awesome adventure to the most amazing places in the solar system. They visit each planet in turn and learn a little about what makes each planet unique and what makes earth such a special place to live.
Gasp in amazement at the huge planet Jupiter, find out what Saturns rings are made of and discover for yourself, what is the secret of the cardboard rocket. A great show for kids and adults.

"Build Your Own Telescope Class"
Want to know what special secrets may be hiding in the Milky Way or on Orion’s Belt? Then join us at Drake Planetarium when we teach you how to build your own telescope! We will give each parent-child team a Galileoscope, show you how to assemble it, and train you how to use it to observe the night sky. The Galileoscope is yours to keep.
We only have space for 30 teams so reserve your spot today!
