Where are you located?

We are located on the fourth floor of Norwood High School, at 2020 Sherman Avenue Norwood, OH 45212.

 

 

Do you have a telescope? 

Drake Planetarium has an optical star projector and an immersive projection system that covers 180 degrees over head to produce a vibrant night sky and immersive full dome technology.

 

 

Can children under 2 years of age get in for free?

Children under 2 can only be admitted if they sit in an adults lap. If they require a separate seat, a ticket will have to be purchased.  

 

 

How much are planetarium show tickets?

Show tickets are $10 online or at the door.

 

 

What are the hours for the planetarium?

Aside from specifically designated public programs found on our calendar, most of the programming at Drake Planetarium & Science Center requires reservations. To make reservations for your school or group, please fill out this online form. If you have questions, please call us during normal business hours.

 

 

Do you have regular visitation hours?

Regular visiting hours are based on scheduled program times on our public show calendar.

 

 

Is parking available?

Street parking is available as well as parking in the lot next to Norwood Middle School.
